The base of the pendant is firmly held in a deep gold base. This keeps the pointed bottom portion of the gemstone safe. It also ensures that the pointed tip, will not scratch or hurt delicate skin. Most jewelers would compromise on gold weight and not take care of such issues. |
You can order your blue topaz custom pendant as an 18k or
14k gold pendant. The fact that a 14k topaz pendant would be harder than an
18k blue topaz pendant is not very relevant because, pendants do not undergo the
wear and tear that is experinced by rings and bracelets. The image shows a
yellow gold pendant but you can also choose to order the same design as a white
gold blue topaz heart pendant. The price of yellow or white gold pendants
remains the same. We also provide the option for a sterling silver topaz
pendant. If you choose the silver topaz pendant, avoid rhodium or other plating
for the pendant. This is because all plating on silver will wear off with time.
Instead choose a silver heart pendant that is not plated and occassionally,
polish the pendant to keep tarnish away.
While you have the option for a
sky blue topaz pendant, a swiss blue topaz pendant or a london blue topaz
pendant, not many other gems can be found with such an imposing size. The
